With the influence of Lake Alexandrina and the Southern Ocean, the maritime climate provides a subtle, continuous temperature, allowing the grapes to ripen to their full potential. As such, the vines have early bud burst, with the last of the reds being harvested as late as the end of April. During this prolonged period, the grapes develop delicate, complex characteristics which are particular to this Region. From this fast rising Currency Creek region on the South Australian South East coast, this shiraz has rich purple fruit and cosseting sweet oak. This is great value at $8.33 per bottle of wine.
